Dwarfcorp CODEX My personal review of the game (since I was given a copy by the creators): Inspired by games like Minecraft, Dungeon Keeper, and Dwarf Fortress, DwarfCorp is a survival/simulation game set in a fantastical world. You’ll be in charge of a small group of dwarves and tasked with discovering and exploiting uncharted territories for the sake of the dwarves (and, of course, making a profit). The game’s 3D voxel world and pixel art sprites are procedurally created. The game is fully 3D, allowing your dwarves to construct multi-story buildings with tunnels and wells.
DwarfCorp PATCH suffers from the same problems that plague other games in the early access phase. When I was collecting review photographs, I noticed a handful of the many mistakes. For a while, people wrote off the game because of its association with Kickstarter (a terrible term). The game has received consistent upgrades since its release, which bodes well for its future. Is that so? Most likely not. Will it make it? Everything is possible, and you’re heading in the correct direction. It has one major plus point: it’s entertaining. If you’re interested, you should follow it now and return in six months when it will have established itself and have more material to offer.
